Cooperatives Act

Amendments concerning the holding of general meetings have been made to the Cooperatives Act. Since last December, it is possible by law to hold general meetings and elections by technological means such as videoconferencing.

These amendments make permanent the exceptional measures put in place by the Ministry of Justice in April 2020. These measures were intended to make it possible to hold meetings despite the ban on meetings due to COVID.
