As an essential element to the success of each housing co-operative, training its members occupies a prominent place in FHCQ’s offer of services. To meet your needs, the Federation offers workshops adapted to your reality on the essential themes of living in a co-op.

EDUCATION CREDITS

credit

Your co-operative’s membership to FHCQ entitles you each year to workshop credits. You can use these credits worth $40 each to reduce your registration fees for our workshops. The number of credits granted to co-operatives is determined by the number of housing units they own. Credits are given out after receipt of the membership contribution.

1 workshop credit for co-ops with 3 to 15 units
2 workshop credits for co-ops with 16 to 30 units
3 workshop credits for co-ops with 31 to 59 units
4 workshop credits for co-ops with 60 to 99 units
5 workshop credits for co-ops with 100 units and more

In order to use your credits

Please send us one workshop credit per registration after receipt of an invoice and deduct the amount of credits from the amount of your invoice.

Cancellation policy

Any cancellation or postponement must be made two business days prior to the workshop date in order to avoid being billed for the workshops. If unable to attend at the last minute, you can be replaced by another person. FHCQ reserves the right to cancel or postpone the workshop if fewer than 8 registrations are confirmed three days prior to the course.

Access for people with reduced mobility

To take part in a workshop, people with reduced mobility are asked to register two weeks before the scheduled date of the workshop, specifying their particular needs.
