DEMONSTRATION

FOR A NATIONAL HOUSING POLICY

On April 2, the FHCQ is inviting housing co-op members and the public to the FRAPRU march to demand a real housing policy to solve the housing crisis once and for all.

On March 22, the Legault government presented its last budget before the October 3 elections. Despite the pressing and unanimous demands of the cooperative and community sector and the municipal sector, the government has shown itself to be insensitive to the plight of thousands of tenants strangled by rent increases and faced with a housing shortage. This budget contains only a few crumbs in terms of housing assistance and also imposes a serious brake on the development of new co-ops.

The housing crisis affects everyone. Don't hesitate to invite your friends and family to the march. Let's show solidarity and join together to make the voice of co-ops heard on April 2, at 1:30 p.m., at Jardin Sakura (125 de la Gauchetière West, Place d'Armes metro)
