Social Media Policy

Respect is a core value of the FHCQ.

Exchanges must be civil, proper and in line with the following rules of appropriate conduct:

  • Comments containing written content, photos or videos deemed illegal, harassing, inappropriate, obscene, offensive, defamatory, threatening, disgraceful, abusive, hateful, racist, xenophobic, homophobic or sexist are strictly forbidden. The FHCQ reserves the right to delete at its discretion and without notice any non-compliant content.

  • Posts with divergent views are welcome. Said views must, however, be expressed in a proper and civil manner. Personal attacks, the use of provocative language or the absence of civility toward other members of the community will not be tolerated and the FHCQ reserves the right to hide or delete such comments and also, where necessary, remind posters about the rules of appropriate conduct.

  • Aggressive captions all in caps or emojis and memes aimed at others or social media pages per se on platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. are not tolerated. The FHCQ reserves the right to delete any comments failing to comply with the aforementioned.

  • Information shared must be truthful. Any inaccurate or misleading information will be immediately corrected or deleted by the page’s moderators.

  • Social media platforms are public; never post personal information. The FHCQ reserves the right to delete any comments containing personal data, e.g. addresses, mobile numbers or any other personal information.

  • The FHCQ reserves the right to block repeat posters of content deemed illegal, abusive or in violation of the rules of appropriate conduct articulated herein.
