FECHIMM annual meeting is postponed to a date to be determined

The Board of Directors of FECHIMM has decided to postpone the Federation's annual meeting scheduled for April 24 and 25. The decision taken at the March 21 meeting held by teleconference is part of the measures put in place by the Federation to try to slow down the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19, as directed by public health authorities.

I'm a full member

The success of a housing co-operative depends in large part on its ability to mobilize its membership around a common and unifying goal. Achieving this level of commitment is a sign that the co-op has a strong contingent of full members.

These are women and men who, without knowing everything about real estate management, have a real interest in the future of their co-op. They are people convinced of the power of collective action who participate fully in their coop's bodies while respecting the democratic functioning of the cooperative movement.

Members who do not hesitate to get involved to preserve the real estate heritage and the mission of their co-operative. Members who embrace the values of the movement and seek opportunities to learn and intercooperate. A group that ensures the self-management of its co-operative with the goal of sustainability for the benefit of its members and future generations.

It is this model of commitment that FECHIMM wants to promote at the level of the co-operatives it brings together for the 2020 annual meeting. That of a supportive and innovative community, bringing together housing co-operatives that are solidly committed to a mutual aid approach within their federation.
