Five positions on the FHCQ Board of Directors will be up for election at the Annual Meeting. Under the Cooperatives Act, a majority of the positions on the Board of Directors must be filled by members of the board of directors of cooperatives that are members of the Federation. The other positions can be filled by candidates regardless of their position in their cooperative.

The nomination period for a position on the Board of Directors is open. Only co-op delegates will be eligible to vote in the election.

Training for candidates

If you are interested in running for a position on the Board of Directors, we invite you to attend a free training session on the role and responsibilities of the members of the Federation's Board of Directors. The workshop will be held by videoconference on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.

Registration is free and not exclusively for those who have already made the decision to run for office.

DEVELOPMENT FUND CREDIT COMMITTEE ELECTIONS

Development Fund investor cooperatives may submit nominations for the Credit Committee. If there are no nominations, the FHCQ Board of Directors may appoint a member to serve on the commission.
