Three new workshops added to the calender

Three new workshops composing a series on communication and conflict resolution are available for the winter-spring 2022 session.

The human factor is a source of challenges in any business and housing cooperatives are no exception. The Federation offers you this series in order to equip you with the best practices to meet them. The workshops are given by expert in non-violent communication and mediation, Jeanne Hubert.

Constructive communications in housing co-operatives
Wednesday, February 9 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Life in a housing cooperative is sometimes demanding and, in this context, knowing how to communicate well is a major asset. This workshop aims to develop communication skills and allows you to identify the elements that promote constructive exchanges.

Conflict resolution
Wednesday, March 23 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

An unresolved conflict can sometimes degenerate into a major crisis, dangerously affecting the quality of life of your members. This workshop will allow you to better understand the nature, dynamics and evolution of conflicts. He will also give you keys to solve them.

Introduction to mediation
Wednesday, April 27 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

This workshop is intended for all members of cooperatives, but particularly for administrators who act directly in conflict management. The presentation of the basic concepts as well as the tools and techniques of intervention in mediation is on the program.
