The FHCQ-FECHIMM is pleased to be associated with the film La Coop de ma mère by Ève Lamont. In addition to having contributed financially to its production, the Federation holds a license to screen the film. Member co-ops will therefore be able to organize a screening of the film for free by writing to us here.

The documentary, filmed in Gatineau's St-Louis co-op, tells the story of what led Rachel, the director's mother, to choose to live in a co-op. Ève Lamont picks up bits and pieces of the stories of her cooperating neighbors and, through scenes of their daily lives, her discreet camera paints a portrait of the bonds that drive the cooperative.
