Not to be missed, Ève Lamont's excellent film, La Coop de ma mère, is in theaters this week. The documentary, shot in the St-Louis co-op in Gatineau, tells the story of what led Rachel, the director's mother, to choose to live in a co-op. Ève Lamont picks up bits and pieces of the stories of her cooperating neighbors and, through scenes from their daily lives, her discreet camera paints a portrait of the ties that bind the cooperative.
