Important message about the Federation's services

From tomorrow, March 16, 2020, FECHIMM office will be closed to the public for information requests and for the rent payment service.

Only people with an appointment with a member of the team will be admitted. Upon arrival at the door, these persons will have to contact the reception at 514-843-6929, ext. 221, to gain access to our premises. They must therefore have a telephone on hand to communicate with the reception desk.

In the wake of the measures taken by public health authorities, this decision is intended to protect the staff responsible for receiving the public from the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19.

FECHIMM also invites members of housing co-operatives and the general public to follow the instructions of government authorities by keeping social interactions that could promote the spread of the virus to a minimum.

Member Services

All member services will be provided, but the terms and conditions will be adapted to the exceptional situation. Information technology will be used to enable remote communications.

Those registered for an information meeting or a training workshop will be informed of the proposed terms and conditions or of the cancellation of these activities. Co-operatives that have requested the services of the Federation to facilitate a general meeting are asked to contact their advisor.

Information for people looking for a cooperative housing unit

People looking for co-operative housing are invited to contact the Federation by phone or e-mail. They can also consult fechimm.coop for information on the procedure to follow in order to submit their application for co-operative housing unit

DURATION OF PREVENTIVE MEASURES

These preventive measures will remain in effect as long as necessary. Any changes to this policy will be communicated to co-op members and the public.
